Shop volunteer needed to work in The Hospice of St Francis charity shop in Kings Langley Volunteers will steam and sort goods, deal with Gift Aid paperwork, work on the tills, and much more!
This is a job for a person who likes to be kept busy! Based in our charity shop in Hempstead Road, Kings Langley, we need a fit and active volunteer to help out. The role will involve greeting customers and offering assistance as well accepting donated goods and completing Gift Aid paperwork where applicable. Before goods are displayed in the shop, they are sorted and steamed. Training will be given on using the till and credit card machines if needed.

To provide a warm welcome to the shop by being polite, friendly and helpful to customers To accept donations of goods to the shop and to thank the donors To sort donated goods, prepare goods for display and arrange displays within the shop as requested by the Shop Manager; to keep an eye on stock levels in the shop, alert the Shop Manager to the gaps and assist in replenishing.
