To encourage participation in, and to join in and supervise a wide range of sporting activities for adults with learning disabilities.
To facilitate sporting and social opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in a supportive and inclusive environment. Helping the growth of members self-esteem and sporting abilities through a wide range of communal sports and table top activities. A willingness to join in and encourage participation through your enthusiasm and friendly presence is necessary. We offer many sporting opportunities including badminton, table tennis, snooker, board games and jigsaws. We also arrange outings for our members, boating, biking, ten pin bowling etc, and help is needed with these events too.

A friendly approachable personality with good communication skills. Volunteers need to be patient and understanding.
Volunteering in a fun, inclusive environment and making a difference to those who need support. The satisfaction of building relationships with members and encouraging them to work together and engage in the social activities. Although no level of sporting ability is required, however, a sense of fun is extremely important.
