Meet and Greet Volunteer Inpatient Unit (IPU) - Berkhamsted

Hospice of St Francis (The)

Join our successful growing team of volunteers who are dedicated in providing a warm and friendly welcome to visitors coming into our Inpatient Unit. If you have good communication skills, and a willingness to develop the visitor experience, we would love to hear from you. The team cover a range of shifts 7 days a week, full training is provided and a standard DBS check is required for this role.

Detailed Description

Join our successful growing team of volunteers who are dedicated in providing a warm and friendly welcome to visitors coming into our Inpatient Unit. If you have good communication skills, and a willingness to develop the visitor experience, we would love to hear from you. The team cover a range of shifts 7 days a week, full training is provided and a standard DBS check is required for this role. Shifts are: 9am - 1pm 1pm =- 4pm 4pm - 7pm

Applicants should be relatively fit as there is a lot of walking and standing. Approachable manner, helpful and flexible personality. Experience of bereavement not essential, but may help.

The Hospice is found at the end of Shootersway, near Berkhamsted Driving Range. The Hospice is not on a bus route but there is ample parking available on site.
