Dacorum Community Trust
We are looking for trustees to join our board. As a trustee your purpose will be to contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of DCT in a number of ways, in particular fundraising and events at the moment helping to sustain the charity's crisis support for local residents.
Dacorum Community Trust (DCT) is a small independent crisis charity providing practical support to Dacorum residents experiencing financial hardship. Support includes white goods, beds, bedding, kitchen utensils, energy vouchers, supermarket vouchers, clothing vouchers and other miscellaneous practical help. Applicants may be facing homelessness, dome3stic violence, unemployment, relationship breakdown, mental or physical health challenges, or other circumstances linked to extreme poverty. DCT aims to respond quickly, resolve immediate needs, and refer applicants with more complex issues to partner agencies. DCT supports over 1000 clients annually. Every penny raised is used locally to provide support for the local community.
