Wellbeing Office Support Volunteer
CAD - Community Transport
We are looking for volunteers to support the day-to-day running of the Community Transport office by assisting clients over the phone, processing bookings and payments and helping to organise day trips.
Community Transport offers vulnerable residents and those with mobility issues an opportunity to get out and about, mix with their friends and family and get to and from medical appointment easily. One of the services is Day Trips which gives opportunities to socialise, get out and about in the fresh air, exercise and meet new people. We are looking for volunteers to support the day-to-day running of the Community Transport office by assisting clients over the phone, processing bookings and payments and helping to organise day trips. Main tasks will include answering and making telephone calls to clients, volunteer drivers and partner organisations. Input journey and client details into the database Take payments over the phone and record them accurately Support the planning and organisation of Day Trips (research, scheduling, booking and locations) Allocate drivers for drivers Book clients journeys and ensure all required information is complete Maintain excellent attention to detail across all administrative tasks.
