Dacorum Mencap, a charity supporting people with learning disabilities, their families, and carers across Dacorum, is looking for friendly, fun‑loving volunteers to help at our social activity sessions. As a Social Activities Volunteer, you’ll join in with a variety of light‑hearted games and informal activities such as pool, UNO, darts, and general social chat. Your role is simply to take part, encourage conversation, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where our members can relax, have fun, and build friendships. We run sessions in both Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, offering opportunities during weekday afternoons or evening social clubs. Whether you can support regularly or just spare a couple of hours each month, we would love to hear from you. This is a great role if you enjoy socialising, want to meet new people, and would like to make a positive difference in a relaxed, friendly environment.
