Hours: 4 hour shifts are available, Monday-Friday 09am-1pm or 1pm-4pm We’re excited to be opening a new café at our Spring Garden Lane site this April and are looking for warm, friendly volunteers to help create a welcoming space for our visitors, patients, and staff. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the Hospice café. Tasks may include serving customers, preparing light snacks and drinks, operating the till, and helping to keep the café clean, organised, and inviting. Cleaning & Tidying, Communication, Teamwork, Customer Service

Why these skills are required

Strong customer service skills and a positive approach to helping others. A friendly, welcoming, and approachable manner. Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not essential. Willingness to complete Food Hygiene Level 2 training and any required mandatory training. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to supporting the café team.
