Radio Dacorum, a local community radio station is looking for a volunteer to manage its volunteers. In this varied role, you will help manage the day to day running of the radio shows, and the scheduling of the shows. You will also helping to coordinate guest interviews and visits, arrange social events for volunteers, and act as a point of contact and communication for volunteers.

This role is based in the Radio Station in Grove hill and from home, and full training will be offered.

You will have confidence and decisiveness, determination, diplomacy and excellent interpersonal skills. You will also have the capacity to work under pressure, react quickly and meet tight deadlines, and the ability to coach and develop talent in station volunteers, the ability to manage volunteer performance and be self motivated. The ability to use email, Whats app and Facebook is essential.
You will have the opportunity to gain new skills, such as management, organisational and communication skills. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped to decrease the chances of isolation and loneliness in Dacorum.
