Peer Support Group Volunteer

Help Headway Hertfordshire to support people with brain injuries in a peer group setting.

Detailed Description

We are looking for individuals who would be willing to volunteer for 2 or 3 hours a week or fortnightly, at our peer support groups in either Watford or Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for individuals who will feel at ease meeting and talking with people and helping others to participate in a social setting, , above all you should be reliable, a good listener and communicator, able to make your own way to meeting places and have a positive and can-do approach to enabling activities for all. Applicants must be over 18 and willing to volunteer for a minimum of 12 months.

We are looking for individuals who are good listeners and communicators, as well as being patient and understanding of the needs of others.

We ask that volunteers offer a minimum of 12 months volunteering with us
