Carers in Hertfordshire relies on dedicated volunteers to help reach as many unpaid carers as we can. As an Ambassador you will attend events on behalf of C.I.H in your local area.
Carers in Hertfordshire relies on dedicated volunteers to help reach as many unpaid carers as we can. As an Ambassador you will attend events on behalf of C.I.H in your local area. They are looking for outgoing individuals who can raise awareness of carers in the community. You will be trained to speak to people on a 1:1 basis at events in the local community. Training in giving presentations to local groups is also offered. You will need to be a car driver or have access to transport and be able to travel to and from events.

If you enjoy speaking to people and are passionate about improving support for carers in your local area we would love to hear from you. You will need to be able to lift a box, do do keep them as light as possible, and we can provide a trolley or case too.
Opportunity to meet other people, develop your skills and experience in talking to people and encouraging them to act on the advice and information given Skills in setting up an attractive stall which will draw people in to talk to you. Increase your confidence and skills for work
