Reading Mentor -
ICANE Foundation
We are looking for volunteers to read with primary school pupils. As a Reading Mentor, you will visit the school for one hour, once a week during term time. You will listen to readers, helping a child to learn to love to read. Full training will be provided during December, and the scheme will start in January
Our purpose is to work with all children with a particular focus on children of African, African Caribbean and Dual heritage. We provide expertise and skills to enable parents to participate positively in their child education. We empower young people to thrive and achieve their goals.
