Gardeners - we need your green fingers! - Berkhamsted
Hospice of St Francis (The)
Our gardeners meet every Tuesday morning, working in teams to manage and look after different areas of the Hospice Gardens.
Our gardeners meet every Tuesday morning, working in teams to manage and look after our 7 acres of beautiful Hospice Gardens. The team carry our practical gardening tasks each week such as weeding, hoeing, edging, mowing, planting, pruning. Garden volunteers must be physically fit; and willing and able to carry out various key tasks. Our gardeners work outside in (almost!) all weathers. Sensitivity to the work of The Hospice and the presence of patients is essential. Gardening knowledge is an advantage. We look for a commitment of at least twice a month during the growing season.
