Volunteering at one or more of their houses, you will be running a tea and coffee morning for the residents, providing and serving refreshments, whilst chatting and socializing with them. This is a great opportunity to organise an activity the residents can enjoy together and to meet new people.
Abbeyfield Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead Society are proud of the care and support they provide for older people in their houses, where residents live in a 'family' environment and are encouraged to pursue hobbies and interests. Volunteering at one or more of their houses, you will be running a tea and coffee morning for the residents, providing and serving refreshments, whilst chatting and socializing with them. This is a great opportunity to organise an activity the residents can enjoy together and to meet new people.

This is an opportunity for you to give a small amount of time and meet new people while knowing you are making a real difference to the lives of older people. You will be reimbursed with any agreed appropriate expenses You will receive any training you need to carry out your role You will be supported by our small friendly house team. You will have lots of fun and get to spend time with our inspirational residents
